Holy Ghost!

Christina wears a Comme des Garcons x H&M blouse, vintage lace vest from Screaming Mimi's, Six Six Sick lace dress, Anna Sui skirt, H&M bloomers, bobby socks, Payless sneakers, and pearls from the district.  I wear a Comme des Garcons x H&M blouse, Ripcosa bralette, Philip Lim 3.1 bustier top, Six Six Sick lace dress, vintage eyelet linen skirt, bobby socks, Marc Jacobs flats, Showpony headband, vintage necklace, and pearls from Gerard Yosca and the district.

This past Thursday Christina and I dressed up as ghosts and headed over to the Williamsburg shoreline to do a photoshoot for Joshua, and the upcoming issue of his zine.  This basically involved piling everything white and lacey-looking that we owned on, which came out looking kinda Victorian, and kinda like Tao by Comme des Garcons Spring 2007.  Joshua had originally wanted to shoot at a cemetery at sunset, but all of the cemeteries in New York are all really far out, so he decided to set us on the rocks by the park off of N. 8th St and Kent Avenue.  Coincidentally, Ji also did a ghost shoot at a similar rocky beach setting, which she also posted today.  I guess insane Asian girls think alike?  Actually neither Christina nor I can really take credit for the location of the shoot since it was all Josh.  The results of the shoot won't be out for a while, but Josh was kind enough to take a few shots of us on my camera.  We were so enamored by our outfits, that we even took a few pictures of ourselves beforehand at my favorite Williamsburg sweet spot, Penny Licks, which has that perfect old-fashioned candy shop feel about it.  Here are the results, which are pretty goofy since we both make ridiculous models and couldn't stop breaking out into laughter unless we were looking directly at our own feet.
