Happy Birthday!Today is Christina's real birthday, but we celebrated on Sunday night with an intimate potluck dinner hosted by Waseem, Chet, and Annie at their apartment. Much to everyone's confusion, it wasn't a surprise party, since Christina hates surprises. She does however love parties, as you know, and this one was perfect---a nice change of pace from our usual nocturnal activities. It was wonderful to have all our best friends together in one place, which rarely happens anymore nowadays, especially with some ridiculous work/band practice/touring schedules ahem, ahem.
