Locavore
I'm not much of a jeans girl, partly because I can rarely find a pair that fits, and partly because simple casual jeans just aren't very me. While The Local Firm focuses on denim, their jeans are hardly your ordinary jeans, and the pieces that form the rest of the collection are hardly your ordinary basics. The garments are perfectly deconstructed, minimal with just the right amount of added detail, and embody every aspect of Scandinavian cool that so many other designers have attempted to emulate. For fall, I'm especially attracted to their blanket-like knit capes, their dress made out of blocks of mixed materials, and of course, their skinny architecturally constructed dark denim.
