Every time we call or text, they've been at band practice, hard at work on their new album under a new band name, GHXST. After a long wait, they're finally ready to share the results with the release of their EP, Evil's Wasted On You. I'm happy to say that it sounds breathtaking, and thankfully their complete lack of social life has paid off (otherwise we'd be pissed). Their dark wave sound feels fully developed and distinctively noir, even if they claim this album is "brighter" than their work from Violet Hour. Still, don't be fooled by the their sinister intonations, they're two of the sweetest kids I know (sorry to blow your cover guys).
