What Are You Doing For Fashion's Night Out?

If you are in New York for Fashion Week, or for any reason at all, you probably haven't been able to avoid all the hype surrounding Vogue's annual Fashion's Night Out. Looking at the massive schedule of events lined-up on the website is overwhelming, and figuring out an itinerary for hitting up all my favorite retailers will probably require taking every subway line available. Still, there are four stores that I will definitely be at, even though they're spread across the vast expanse of Manhattan. Christina and I will be making in-store appearances at both Screaming Mimi's and Convent with Triskaidekaphobia Jewelry, and I will definitely be stopping in at another of our retailers Seven. Somehow, between all this, I will also head uptown to Barney's to see Andrew Yang's latest collection of dolls. Details for all four events below. Hope you can stop by and say hello!

Screaming Mimi's will be hosting its second annual edition of "Racks of Love" featuring racks of vintage curated by downtown New York's greatest. A portion of the sales from the racks will go to a charity of the curator's choice. Our friends Vanna, Nicollette, and Waseem will be DJing, and we'll be on hand to give a sneak preview of our Spring 2011 collection!

Convent will be serving drinks and insane discounts, and several of their designers will be on hand to talk to customers. We will be there with jewelry from the Triskaidekaphobia Fall collection.

Seven New York is hosting an incredible Preen Archive Sample Sale, with runway samples selling for 75%-90% off! I've heard of these wonderful Preen sample sales in London, but this is the first that I know of taking place in NYC. Not to be missed!

Barneys New York always has plenty of stuff going on, but the highlight will be my friend Andrew Yang's display of runway-inspired Kouklita dolls, made exclusively for Barneys for FNO. The dolls include the now famous Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington inspired dolls, which will be autographed by the Vogue editors and auctioned off for charity.
