We're always big fans of our friend Margarita Saplala, and her colorful prints and designs, which are largely influenced by her memories of her trips to the Philippines. Margarita's Fall collection arrives in stores like Sucre and Dear Fieldbinder this week and there are plenty of pretty silk dresses and tiered ruffle skirts, which are perfect for an effortlessly dressed and understated elegance. I personally have my eye on a pair of the harem pants that feel like a pair of pajamas, and are printed to resemble fur. All the pieces strike me as a perfect way to transition from summer to fall.
